Seamless Background #1 There are several ways to make a seamless background in Real DRAW. This tutorial shows how to make a seamless background using the "Star" Tool (of course, you can also use the Circle, Rectangle or Rounded Rectangle tool, also). The background has not been designed for its visual appeal. Rather, it is designed to show key factors which will result in a seamless background. |

Step 1. Click on Project and set the canvas size to width=250 and height=250. Select a light color. For my color, I set the RGB values to R=255, G=242 and B=202. |
Step 2. Click on the star tool and drag out a large in the center and a small circle next to it.The secret of getting a seamless background is to make sure that you do not place objects that tough on the edges of the canvas. Leave some space from the edges and you will have a seamless background when you are through. Fill the circles with a color or texture (I selected the texture called "Yellow Fabric.") |
Step 3. Now copy the small circle and paste it in several different place on the canvas, careful to make sure that none of them touch the edge of the canvas. When you have the number of stars you want, select all the objects (Ctrl+A) and create a package (Ctrl+E). Select the package and in the layers window, adjust the slider to alter the opacity. That is it!! You are done!! Click here to see this seamless background used in a web page. |
