Seamless Background #2 This tutorial shows how to make a seamless background from a bitmap. |
Step 1. Insert the image that you will use to make your seamless background. With the bitmap selected, adjust the slider on the layers window to alter the opacity. |
Step 2. Click on the rectangle tool and drag out a over a part of the image that you think will make an interested background. With the rectangle selected, use the eyedropper to click on a color found in the bitmap. The rectangle will fill with that color. Go to the Effects window and click on "Crazy Sphere". Move the 3 sliders all the way to the right. Make sure the design in the center of the rectangle is not touching the outside edges of the rectangle. Now, click on the cropping tool and drag out the cropping area around the rectrangle. Then click on FILE>EXPORT and save your background image. |

Step 3. That is it!! You are done!! The resulting image to be used as a backgound is to the right. Click here to see this seamless background used in a web page. |
