Cat Eyes Learn how to make cat eyes and place them on a photographic image for a cool effect. |
Step 1. Select a photograph in which the iris is round and not partially covered and the pupil is relatively small and round. |
Step 2. Click on the circle tool and drag out a circle that is slightly smaller than each eye. Color the circles orange. On the layers window, select "Hard Light" for each orange circle layer. |
Step 3. Click on the circle tool again, and drag out a cat pupil (a black oval--see the picture to the right). It is ok to cover small light reflections with the cat pupils, but try to leave bigger light reflections uncovered. |
Step 4. Click on Bitmap>Adjust>Auto Levels to balance the color and to modify the brightness and contrast. In this case, Auto Levels darkened the image a bit, especially the eye lashes which make the cat eyes stand out even more. That's it!! You are done!! Now, find those photographs of your friends and have fun playing with cat eyes! |
