Color Text with A Bitmap |
Step 1. Using a wide font (I used Goudy Stout here) type a word. Mine is size 50 due to size limitations for this tutorial, but the bigger the better, |
Step 2. Select a picture to fill the text with....I am going to fill this example with a bitmap of flowers (clever, huh?) |
Step 3. Copy the picture, then click on the eye that appears on the layers window next to the bitmap layer to make the bitmap invisible. Select the text layer in the layers window. Right click on the text and select 'Paste Inside.' |
Step 4. Bevel the text (I selected a 'Frame' Bevel with settings of 7, 100, and light direction of 135) and add a solid outline. That's it!!! You have another way to add colors to text. Experiment with different bevels and try all sorts of images to paste inside the text, e.g., crayons and m&m candies. |
