City police showed off their new policy of using donuts as motorcycle tires yesterday. Chief I.M. Dunkin said, "The donut policy doesn't have any holes in it. It saves money on vehicle costs and it saves time because our officers don't have to call in a code 7 (meal break). They can just take a bite out of their 'tire' if they are hungry and stay on patrol." No word yet whether the coffee for motor oil policy has been approved by the City Council and the Mayor's office.
